Warming Tree Collects Record Number of Items

Thanks to generous donations from our customers, staff, and Board Members, we were able to collect 1,352 warming items in 2023.

This is the highest total we have received in our six years of collecting items with the Warming Tree, and the third straight year we have brought in more than 1,000 items. We received:

  • 869 hats
  • 143 scarves
  • 76 blankets
  • 74 jackets
  • 65 pairs of gloves
  • 60 pairs of socks
  • 25 sweatshirts
  • 15 handwarmers
  • 12 shirts
  • 8 onesies
  • 2 pajama bottoms
  • 1 pair of sweatpants
  • 1 pair of boots
  • 1 snuggy

Everything collected was donated to Community Action Team to distribute to those in need in Columbia County.
