PUD Scores High Marks in Customer Survey

July 20, 2011 – In June 2011, we conducted a satisfaction survey among residential customers. The overall ratings were among the best we have ever received.

Participants were asked to rate the PUD on a scale of 1 (Dismal) to 10 (Excellent) on several different measures. The graphs below show the percentage of participants who gave each rating. The title of the graph shows the subject of the question and the mean (average) score. For this type of survey, any mean score above “8” is a very positive result.

Overall Performance: 9.07

Customers gave the PUD a score of 9.07 for overall performance.

 

Prompt, Courteous & Knowledgeable Employees: 9.14

Customers gave the PUD an average rating of 9.14 for prompt, courteous and knowledgeable employees.

Understandable Bills: 9.16

Outage Response: 9.08

Customers gave the PUD a score of 9.07 for outage response.

Cares About the Community: 8.48

Customers gave the PUD a score of 8.48 for its community support activities.

Credible Source of Information: 8.46

Overall Value: 8.28

Customers gave the PUD a score of 8.28 for overall value.

Environmentally Responsible: 8.30

On a scale of 1 (Dismal) to 10 (Excellent), customers gave the PUD a rating of 8.30 for being environmentally responsible.

Financially Responsible Operations: 8.17

On a scale of 1 (Dismal) to 10 (Excellent), customers gave the PUD a score of 8.17 for financially responsible operations.

Helps Customers Save Money: 8.46

On a scale of 1 (Dismal) to 10 (Excellent), customers gave the PUD a score of 8.46 for Helping Customers Save Money.
