Outage Affects 1,937 Warren-Area Customers

July 2, 2014 – A broken insulator on a transmission line serving Tarbell Substation caused an outage for 1,937 Columbia River People’s Utility District customers in the Warren area on Tuesday afternoon.

The outage began at 3:37 p.m. PUD linemen replaced the insulator and then coordinated with Bonneville Power Administration to re-energize the transmission line and restore service to the affected customers. Power was restored to all customers at 6:30 p.m.
