Submit Your Best Photos for Our Calendar Photo Contest

August 15, 2014 – Do you take beautiful, scenic photos of Columbia County? If so, you are invited to enter them in Columbia River People’s Utility District’s annual photo contest.
The PUD is accepting entries through September 12, 2014. The winning entries will appear in the 2015 PUD calendar, which is mailed to PUD customers.
The annual contest attracts over 300 entries. The PUD’s Board of Directors will select the finalists for each season, and customers will choose from among those shots to select the winning photos. Voting will be held at the PUD office and on the PUD website during the month of October.
Prospective entrants should submit scenic photos that capture the beauty of Columbia County throughout the year. To be considered, photos must be taken in Columbia County, shot in color, and appropriately sized for printing at 12 inches wide and 9 inches high (minimum digital resolution of 3600 pixels wide x 2,700 pixels high). Each photographer may submit up to 10 photographs for the contest. Either prints or digital files may be submitted.
