SmartHub is Coming on September 8
Starting September 8, you will be able to manage your account online with SmartHub, our new web and mobile app. SmartHub offers many new features that are not available through our current online account system.
SmartHub allows you to monitor your daily electric usage with hourly data. This can help you discover ways to save energy and lower your bill. You can set up recurring payments and even communicate with us through the app.
You can download the SmartHub app onto your mobile device or access SmartHub through our website beginning September 8.
Also starting next month, your bill will have a new look. Your September billing statement will include an explanation of your newly designed bill.
There are some changes that may require your immediate attention once our new system goes live on September 8:
- If you are currently enrolled to pay your bill automatically each month with a debit or credit card, you will need to re-enroll in our Auto Pay program. We will send re-enrollment instructions to affected customers. If you have an automatic deduction from a bank account, no action is needed.
- If you make recurring donations to GLOW, you will need to re-establish that donation if you wish for it to continue. You can do so by using the “Round Up for GLOW” option on your new bill or by enrolling within the SmartHub app.
- Paperless Billing customers will need to re-enroll, using the SmartHub app or by calling our office at (503) 397-0590. All customers will receive a paper copy of their September bill.
In order to launch SmartHub, we must convert all of our data. To ensure this conversion goes smoothly, we will not be accepting any credit card payments, online payments, or phone payments between August 31 and September 7. We will be accepting cash and checks during this time. Thank you for your understanding.
