SAFE, which was formerly known as the Women’s Resource Center, has been serving Columbia County since 1979. The agency’s mission, to empower our community to live safe, healthy lives free from abuse.

In addition to new or gently used winter clothing, the PUD will also collect cash contributions for SAFE, and items from their wish list, which includes facial tissue and paper towels, bath towels and wash cloths, pillows, bus passes, shampoo & conditioner, gas vouchers, and gift certificates for haircuts, clothing, etc.

The PUD’s Open House will run Monday, October 6 through Friday, October 10 from 9AM to 4PM. The PUD will have refreshments in the lobby and daily prize drawings. Customers who attend will have a chance to vote for the finalists in the PUD’s 2015 Calendar Photo Contest.
