Animal Causes Early Morning Outage
An animal knocked out power to more than 1,200 Columbia River PUD customers early Monday morning.
The PUD’s Tarbell Substation went down around 1:00 a.m. on March 28, causing 1,218 households in the Warren area to lose power. PUD staff is continuing to investigate exactly what caused the outage, but it appears to have been animal-caused.
The PUD rerouted power to restore electricity to all affected customers by 4:10 a.m. Monday morning.
