Crews are continuing to work on making repairs. As of 4:45 p.m. on December 19, we have 27 customers still without power in 12 different outage spots.

Outage Update: December 19, 12:15 p.m.

Our crews are continuing to work on making repairs to our electric distribution system. As of 12:15 p.m. on December 19, we have 59 customers still without power in 21 different trouble spots.

We are responding to outages across our service territory. As of 9:15 a.m. on December 19, we have 78 customers still without power in 24 different trouble spots. Our line crews are out working in all districts in our service territory to safely restore power as quickly as possible.

Outage Update: December 18, 5:15 p.m.

Our crews are heading home for a much-needed rest after working on restoration efforts for the last 40 hours straight. They will be back to work at 5 a.m. on Friday, December 19.

There are still 80 customers out. If your power is out now, it will not be restored tonight. We know this isn’t what you’re wanting to hear but want to make sure you are aware so you can make arrangements if necessary. We still have about 27 trouble spots that need repairs.

Outage Update: December 18, 3:30 p.m.

We have another new outage on Neer City. There are currently 284 customers out with 29 different trouble spots. We have a crew on site on Neer City Road.

Outage Update: December 18, 1:30 p.m.
We just restored power to about 115 customers in the Old Rainier Road area. We now have about 170 customers out of power, spread over 25 different locations.
The tree that came down on Neer City a couple of hours ago created quite a mess, with a broken pole and lines down.

Outage Update: December 18, 11:00 a.m.
We now have about 400 customers without power. Another tree came down through our lines on Neer City Road, knocking out power to about 50 customers.
As a reminder, please stay away from all downed power lines or trees that are touching power lines. They may be energized.

Outage Update: December 18, 9:00 a.m.

We now have about 375 customers out of power. We had to de-energize 55 customers on Old Rainier & Elk Creek Road so BPA could make repairs.

Right around that time, an unrelated outage knocked out 60 more customers around Old Rainier & Wonderly roads. Crews are continuing to work on making repairs.

Outage Update: December 18, 7:00 a.m.

Good morning. Our crews made some great progress overnight, restoring power to nearly 1,000 customers. We still have about 285 customers without power and about 23 different outage spots.

We understand there are some of you who have been without power since the early hours of yesterday, and we are working our way toward you.

Our linemen have been working for 30 hours straight and are continuing to to work hard to safely restore power.

Outage Update: December 17, 5:15 p.m.

We have about 1,230 customers without power - down from a peak of more than 3,000. Crews have been working since around 1 a.m. and will continue working through the night to safely restore power to as many customers as possible.

We still have around 50 different trouble spots. As we have cleared larger outages, some smaller ones have popped up some that number has not changed much throughout the day even as our linemen have made repairs.

Our line crews and tree crews are continuing to work on making repairs to our electric distribution system. We are prioritizing repairs that restore power to the largest number of customers. These repairs will also restore power to smaller lines, which may need further repairs.
