Call before you dig

If you plan to dig on your property, Oregon law requires you to call the Utility Notification Center at least two business days in advance.

Call Before You DigIf you plan to dig anywhere on public or private property, Oregon law requires you to call the utility locating service before you dig.

8-1-1 is a free service that is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  Call the number at least two working days before beginning any excavation to prevent damage to underground facilities, service interruptions and injuries. A representative will be sent out to locate and mark any underground facilities on your property. The service is free and is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
