The Special Waiver

The Special Waiver Program waives the $7 monthly customer charge for families living on low or fixed incomes. We waive the charge for customers who meet the low-income requirements from the State of Oregon.

Special waiver eligibility is determined through a screening process, and participants need to be recertified annually to retain the waiver. Call our office at 397-0590 if you think you may qualify. If your sole source of income is Social Security, or if your income is above the guidelines above but you have significant medical expenses, you may still qualify for the Special Waiver.
