Internship Program

Over the next decade, the electric utility industry will hire many of today's best and brightest students to fill jobs left empty by the retirement of over half of the industry's workforce.  Columbia River PUD's Internship Program offers students who reside in the utility's service area a chance to learn about utility careers through direct work experience. The utility offers summer internships to high school seniors and college students who can demonstrate their interest in and pursuit of the following utility careers:

• Accountant
• Electrical Engineer (Power or Energy Systems)
• Energy Efficiency Specialist
• Energy Management Engineer
• Field Engineering Technician
• Lineman
• Renewable Energy Specialist

How to Apply:

Complete and submit an internship application by March 15, 2012.
