Start Electric Service

Signing up for electric service is quick and easy. If you're moving into an existing residence, you may fill out the form below or contact Customer Accounts at (503) 397-0590. You may call us to start service or to report changes of name or occupancy up to 30 days in advance.

If you're building a new home, outbuilding or business, or siting a new manufactured home, you'll need to contact our Engineering Department about about getting electric service at a new location.

You may request that we add another person's name to your account, or that we send your bill to a third party if they have your permission to act on your behalf. If you would like to have a copy of your bill sent to another person, or to have someone else's name included on your account, please provide contact information for that person:

If you are a new PUD customer or you have an unsatisfactory credit history with us, we will require a deposit. The deposit may be paid up front or in two installments, separate from your monthly electric bill. With your permission, we can review your credit report to determine if you qualify for a waiver of the deposit. If your credit rating meets our qualifications, your deposit may be waived.
