Drive-Up Payment Service at Columbia River PUD Restored

May 12, 2008

A new drive-up payment drop box has been installed at Columbia River PUD, and drive-up payment service has been restored.

Drive-up payment service has been unavailable since a burglar damaged the old drive-up payment drop box in mid-April. The new box has advanced security features to prevent future break-ins and is monitored 24 hours a day by surveillance cameras.

"An after-hours drive-up payment service is convenient for may of our customers," said PUD Finance and Customer Service Manager Rick Lugar. "We're glad to be able to offer the service again."
